The SMCOR2K is a combined NG‑TRX wireless smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) sensor.

• •Its operation is very simple: an optical chamber that uses the Tyndall effect detects the presence of smoke, and an electrochemical cell recognizes the presence of carbon monoxide in the environment.
• •Two-way communication between the VIDOMO2K/VICOMPACT2K control panels or the GATEWAY2K module and the SMCOR2K sensor occurs via encrypted protocols with NG‑TRX technology, and the operating range of the radio link is 1 km in open air.
• •The main strength of the SMCOR2K is the ability to perform complete and precise setup from a PC, even remotely without necessarily having to travel to the installation site.
