EL.MO. PASSGATE — Passive interface module for access control; single door (1 IN reader and 1 OUT reader)

PASSGATE is a passive access control interface module for managing a single door (1 IN reader and 1 OUT reader).

• •It is compatible with PROXIMA intrusion control panels and connects via an RS-485 TERABUS serial line.
• •It allows only authorized users to activate the electric lock that opens a door or gate.
• •The gate can be opened by reading a card code on entry and exit, or by reading a card code on entry and pressing a door opener button on exit.
• •The card code comes from a connected magnetic card reader, QR code reader, or electronic tag operating with Wiegand protocol.
• •The code is sent to PROXIMA and compared with a user database created with the PASSMANAGER software.
• •If the control panel communicates that the user assigned the card code is authorized to open that specific gate, PASSGATE activates the electric lock.
• •If you use an intrusion control panel, you can use the readers connected to PASSGATE to arm and disarm the system.
• •Programming PASSGATE requires the use of two software programs: PASSMANAGER and BrowserOne.
